Part 4 - Post-Treatment Rehab

Course Description

This class will be briefly going over the initial normal nerve function and normal structure function. It is vital that the patient does strengthening post-treatments to insure long lasting results for nerve corrections, for muscle corrections and for structural corrections. This strengthening is THE foundation for the Pettibon System of long lasting results. We then take the foundational concepts and principles and apply the appropriate rehabilitation terminology to help each practitioner become familiar with of the strengthening process. The patented weighting system is introduced and rehab terms will be reviewed for understanding and clarity. The in office rehab concepts are important for the practitioner and staff to start to understand. The home management section is a major determining factor as to ‘IF’ the patient wants results that last a lifetime so this course is a great starting point for practitioners to begin wrapping their head around getting patients to do home care.

This class is a class for practitioners and staff to learn, re-learn and apply the important principles of soft tissue rehabilitation. We begin to show practitioners how to use patients’ objective measures throughout the rehab process to understand each patient’s condition completely and comprehensively in order to properly apply each rehabilitation procedure at the right time. The communication to each patient during the rehabilitation, in regards to their health problem(s), is crucial and can motivate or de-motivate the patient; therefore we will introduce these concepts briefly during this course. What's the process for getting CE hours?

We send a monthly report of doctors who have successfully completed the online courses to the coordinator at Palmer College and PACE (Providers of Approved Continuing Education) at the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards at the beginning of each month. The doctors' chiropractic regulatory boards are then informed by the CE providers. Not all boards accept online courses for CE hours and not all boards accept courses from Recognized PACE Providers. We have listed all the CE Re-licensure Requirements for the US and Canada so you can verify what your board accepts.  Hours in this report are calculated based on time spent to complete a course up to the amount available.

Some states and provinces require the doctor to submit the certificate of completion. It is your responsibility to know the process with your state/province. If you are responsible for submitting your hours, be sure to print out the certificate once you finish the evaluation at the end of each online course.

(Need assistance in a hurry outside of the monthly report? E-mail for assistance, there will be a $25 filing fee.)
